Lemania, founded in 1884 by Alfred Lugrin, became a legendary Swiss movement maker, renowned for its high-quality chronograph calibers, like the famed 2310, used in iconic watches such as the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. Though it later became part of the SSIH group (with Omega and Tissot) and then Nouvelle Lemania, its legacy is cemented in providing precise movements for top brands, powering watches for space missions and military use, and influencing modern watchmaking before becoming part of Breguet/Swatch Group.
